POSITION: MACHINE OPERATOR (CNC Machines)

SHIFTS:

1st: 10 hour shift 6am to 4:30pm

2nd: 10 hour shift 4:30pm to 3am or 5am

DETAILS

  1. Follows job, safety/environmental and inspection instructions per the Cell work instructions, CNC Trainer or Supervisor
  2. Properly completes all paperwork, including production logs and quality checks
  3. Prepares machine and gages for operation
  4. Operates machine and verifies conformance of machined parts to specifications by utilizing gages
  5. Produces quality work meeting company and customer standards
  6. Produces an amount of work which meets or exceeds production standards
  7. Performs offset adjustments
  8. Follow tag procedure
  9. Change inserts
  10. Follow Housekeeping, Safety & Environmental requirements (recycling, labeling, spills and programs)
  11. Comply with all applicable requirements for the Quality and Environmental systems
  12. Continuous improvement ideas in safety, productivity, quality, housekeeping-submit to supervisor or HR Box.
  13. Other duties as defined by your supervisor
  14. Must be available for weekly overtime and weekend work.

Job Proficiency desired: 

  1. Machine experience or trainable on CNC lathes mills, broaches.
  2. Perform offset adjustments
  3. Read and interpret gages proficiently such as; plug, snap, flush pin, go-no/go and calipers
  4. Ability to effectively follow instructions, record data, and communicate with team members

 

POSITION: General / Facilities Maintenance for CNC Manufacturing

SHIFTS:

1st: 6:00 am – 4:30 pm

DETAILS:

A General/Facilities Maintenance Technician supports both production machinery and general facilities operations within the manufacturing environment. A General/Facilities Maintenance Technician will undertake the responsibility for preserving good condition and functionality of the premises. 
CNC Facility.

  • Facility Maintenance (i.e. minor plumbing repairs, lighting replacement, furniture assembly, painting, repairing and moving items, etc.)
  • Alternate for Coolant Technician
  • Assist with PM activities on equipment
  • Perform or assist with PM’s on floor scrubbers, fork-lifts, & conveyors
  • Prioritize, direct and train janitorial staff
  • Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and reorder
  • Monitor cleanliness and organization of parking lot 
  • Enforce and adhere to all recycling requirements & complete necessary documentation
  • Conduct various repairs as needed.
  • Assist Shipping and Receiving as needed.
  • Follow Housekeeping, Safety (lockout/tagout) & Environmental requirements (recycling, labeling, spills and programs)
  • Continuous improvement ideas in safety, productivity, quality, housekeeping
  • Ensure compliance to all levels of the Quality and Environmental systems
  • Will operate a forklift, Hyster Forklift and aerial lift for daily tasks.
  • Other duties as defined by your manager or shift supervisor
  • Proficiency desired: Facility maintenance (plumbing, heating/cooling, repairs), electrical experience, independent worker, knowledge and use of tool room equipment, mechanically inclined.
  • State certified industrial storm water operator experience a plus.

POSITION: ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN (Time split between floor and office)

SHIFTS:

1st: 6:00 am – 4:30 pm

DETAILS:
1. Troubleshoot tooling, process concerns and chronic machine problems.
2. Edit CNC programs and perform production set ups.
3. Troubleshoot electrical and electronic problems, perform PLC implementation & PLC program management.
4. Conduct studies and record operations for such factors as time, motion, method and speed to improve efficiency or establish standard production rates.
5. Conduct tool life studies and assist in analysis of information per Engineers.
6. Conduct tool life studies and assist in analysis of information per Engineers.
7.  Help implement new and enhanced tool process tools.
8. Make or modify machine parts and gauging.
9. Maximizes efficiency by analyzing layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and work force utilization.
10. Assist in conducting capability studies and ROI analysis.
11. Participates in evaluation and selection of products for new and current processes.
12. Lead or assist with lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvements (CI).
13. Identify CI opportunities and participate in problem solving teams.
14.  Participate in APQP/PPAP process and implementation of new processes.
